The shape of Ruolv looks a bit like a rice ear and also a bit like a small braid. Its basic color is green. It is a summer succulent plant and is relatively resistant to high temperatures. It requires sufficient light during the growing period. Succulent lovers can frequently prune Ruolv to care for it. After pruning, Ruolv will produce more branches.

If green succulent cultivation

1. Potting soil: Green succulents usually need to be repotted once a spring every year. The potting soil should be a mixture of leaf mold, culture soil and coarse sand, with a small amount of bone meal. This kind of soil is loose and breathable, suitable for the growth of green succulents.

2. Light temperature

   Ruolu is suitable for cultivation in places with sufficient light, but the strong light in summer must be blocked, otherwise the leaves will be burned. Although Ruolu can withstand low temperatures of around minus 2°C, its leaves are prone to frostbite, dryness and death. It is best to move it to a warm indoor place for cultivation.

3. Watering

   If the green succulent has a certain degree of drought resistance, it does not need excessive watering. Generally, it is enough to keep the soil moist. After the temperature drops in winter, you should slowly stop watering. When the temperature is high in summer, the growth of the whole plant will slow down or stop completely. You should water it sparingly and move it indoors during the rainy season to avoid rain.

Matters needing attention in the maintenance of Ruolu

During the cultivation process of Ruolv, pruning work must be done well, cutting off the overgrown and overly messy branches to shape a beautiful appearance. The most important thing to note during the growth period is that the amount of watering must be small and the watering frequency must be low. Its root system is relatively weak and cannot tolerate waterlogging. Excess water needs to be drained as soon as possible to avoid root rot.
