When does gardenia sprout?

1. When will the seeds germinate after sowing?

The sowing time of this flower is mainly divided into spring and autumn. The spring sowing time is before and after the rain, and the autumn sowing time is around the autumnal equinox. Spring sowing is mainly used.

Normally, seedlings will grow out three weeks after we sow the seeds, and basically all of them will be grown in about a month. However, this is not absolute. There may be errors due to different factors such as seed quality and temperature. We will explain the details below.

2. When will the branches sprout after pruning?

In order to make it sprout new buds, we usually cut off some unnecessary branches, and the pruned flowers will soon grow new buds.

And these new shoots, if properly cared for, can sprout in less than a week.

3. Influencing factors

Why do some flowers germinate quickly and others slowly? In fact, this is related to its type and quality as well as the conditions in which it is raised.

Let’s talk about the internal factors first. If there is a quality problem with its seeds, it would not be surprising if they do not germinate at all, let alone slowly. In addition, there are some special varieties that germinate slowly and we have no way to deal with them.

Next, let’s talk about external factors. The external factors here mainly refer to the temperature. If it is not suitable, it is impossible for it to germinate. Usually we will keep it in the range of 18-22℃, so as to ensure that it will not germinate slowly or not at all due to temperature problems.
