How to grow Milan flowers in spring

How to grow Milan flowers in spring

1. Increase lighting

Milan is a green plant and can only metabolize normally when there is sufficient sunlight. The spring sunshine is not strong, so it can receive sunshine all day. The sunlight is quite strong in late spring, so you can place a sunshade on it to provide some shade when the sun is strong, so that it can see the sunlight normally in the morning and afternoon.

2. Adjust the room temperature

It has relatively high temperature requirements. If the growth temperature is lower than ten degrees, it will stop growing. It is colder in spring, so try not to keep it outdoors. When caring for it indoors, ensure that the temperature is above 15 degrees, but not higher than 30 degrees. It will not grow if it exceeds 30 degrees. If the temperature is high, you can lower the ambient temperature by opening windows for ventilation, spraying water around, etc.

3. Increase watering

Spring is its growing season, and water is consumed faster, so the amount of watering should be increased to meet its needs. When the temperature is above fifteen degrees, it needs to be watered every day; when it is below fifteen degrees, it needs to be watered two to three times a week; when the temperature is above twenty degrees, in addition to watering every day, its branches and leaves also need to be watered to prevent them from drying out due to lack of water.

4. Increase nutrients

The plant consumes a lot of fertilizer during the growth period, and it needs to increase the nutrients in the soil so that it can grow well. When choosing fertilizers, you should choose fertilizers with relatively weak effects. It cannot absorb fertilizers with strong effects. Generally speaking, fertilizing two to three times a month is sufficient.
