Can succulents be air-conditioned in winter?

Is it suitable to raise succulents in an air-conditioned room?

The answer is yes, but there are also many things to pay attention to. In other words, succulents can be treated with air conditioning in winter, but their condition will not be the best for viewing. Next, let’s talk about the things to note when using air conditioning on succulents.

Precautions for using air conditioner on succulent plants

1. Stay away from air outlet. No matter how resistant to high temperatures the succulents are, they should not be placed near the air outlet of the air conditioner.

2. If you have just moved the succulents from outside, do not put them in the air-conditioned room immediately. At least there should be a buffer place, such as a corridor or a place where the air conditioner cannot reach. Place them for a while before moving them to the air-conditioned room.

3. If the air conditioner temperature is too high, the succulents will wake up and resume growth. At this time, water them appropriately, otherwise the overly dry soil will harm the health of the succulents;

4. In winter, the air in the room will be very dry when the air conditioner is turned on. If the succulents resume growth, pay attention to which succulents are not suitable for an overly dry environment;

5. Even if you can turn on the air conditioner at a warm temperature, you still need to get some sun exposure. This is a must.

6. After the temperature rises, if you want to move it outdoors, you cannot place it directly outdoors. The environment changes too quickly, which is not good for the succulent. You can first place it on the outdoor balcony for a while when it is warm at noon, and then slowly increase the time it is placed outdoors every day.
