Cultivation methods and precautions of yellow candy orchid

Growth habit

As mentioned above, this kind of flower prefers to grow at high altitudes, and deep mountains are their favorite. Therefore, the planting location or the potting soil should be a little moist, not only able to penetrate water well, but also able to retain moisture, so that they will not get sick due to lack of water, and their growth will not be affected by insufficient water.

Maintenance points

Temperature and humidity

This type of yellow orchid likes a cool location with good air circulation. It does not like direct sunlight and does not like places that are too dry. Their favorite temperature is 15-30℃. If the temperature is too high, they will not grow well and may enter a dormant stage, which is very unfavorable for their growth. At this time, they need to properly block the sunlight. If not dealt with in time, the leaves will soon be burned or even scorched. By the same token, when the temperature drops below 5°C, frostbite will occur and the plant will enter a dormant stage.

Water and fertilizer management

Although they like a more humid environment, they cannot be given too much water, especially in winter. They don't like to grow during this period. Giving them too much water can easily make the roots, which don't breathe much, even more unable to breathe, or cause the newly grown buds to be unable to withstand the environment and die.

Fertilizer needs to be used together with water, and the amount should be similar to that of water. Try not to apply fertilizer in winter. You can give more fertilizer to cattle, but there is one taboo. Each time, the amount of fertilizer must be diluted to the appropriate concentration. It is not the case that the larger the amount, the better. Too much amount will cause counter-effects.
