The breeding methods and precautions of tiger whiskers

1. Breeding methods

Tiger whiskers prefer a relatively humid and warm climate. They cannot withstand severe cold and require fertile soil. When breeding tiger whiskers, soil cultivation is generally chosen, and the season should be spring, when the temperature is most suitable for its growth. Select excellent tiger whisker seedlings for planting. The size of the pot can be determined according to the size of the tiger whisker plant. The soil should have good drainage. It is generally recommended to use the soil at home and mix it evenly with clean river sand as the culture soil. Of course, it would be better if there is peat soil and perlite. Make sure the pH value is between 5.5 and 6.5. The potting soil must be disinfected before planting. When planting in the pot, be sure to place the tiger whisker in the center of the pot so that its roots can fully expand and grow. After potting, apply base fertilizer to supplement the nutrients needed for the growth of tiger whiskers. After that, just wait for the tiger whiskers to grow up. Remember to water them frequently, as tiger whiskers cannot adapt to arid environments!

2. Precautions

1. Temperature

Tiger whiskers grow best in a warm environment. It is best to control the temperature between 18 and 27 degrees Celsius when breeding tiger whiskers. If it is lower than 13 degrees Celsius, the tiger whiskers will most likely be frozen to death. Especially in winter, tiger whiskers cannot be kept in an environment below 10 degrees Celsius for a long time, otherwise its roots will begin to rot until the entire tiger whisker dies.

2. Lighting

Tiger's whiskers like plenty of sunlight. Except for the fact that they cannot withstand the scorching sun in summer, you should give them more sun exposure at other times to ensure that they get enough sunlight every day. Be careful not to place tiger's whiskers in a too dark environment, otherwise the leaves of tiger's whiskers will lose their luster.

3. Soil

Tiger whiskers do not have high requirements for soil, but prefer fertile and loose humus soil. Generally, the potting soil of the tiger plant needs to be changed once every two years, in spring, and compost should be applied at the same time.

Do you now have the answers to the two questions at the beginning of the article? If you like it, hurry up and grow a pot of tiger whiskers!
