What to do if the leaves of the tree become soft? What are the reasons for the leaves becoming soft?

1. Increase humidity

Reason: The lucky bamboo plant likes a humid growing environment. If the growing environment is dry for a long time and the humidity in the growing environment is too low, the leaves will become soft.

Solution: When the air is relatively dry, you need to spray water mist on the leaves or around them. You can increase the humidity by spraying water. In addition to spraying water mist, you can also open windows more often to promote air circulation and alleviate the stuffy and dry conditions in the room.

2. Improve the soil

Reason: When maintenance goes smoothly, if the soil is not suitable, the pH value is alkaline, or it is too compacted, growth will be hindered and the leaves will become soft.

Solution: Repot and turn the soil regularly to provide new soil to maintain growth. The soil can be prepared by mixing peat soil, leaf mold, river sand and decomposed cake fertilizer.

3. Reasonable exposure to light

Reason: The lucky bamboo likes to grow in a diffuse light environment. If the sunlight is too strong, the leaves will become soft.

Solution: Just accept appropriate astigmatism on a daily basis. After being exposed to the sun, move to a cool environment in time to avoid strong light.

4. Adjust water and fertilizer

Reason: Water and fertilizer are also very important. Too much or too little water and fertilizer will cause the leaves to become soft.

Solution: Water and fertilize correctly according to the growth, and the amount of water and fertilizer needs to be adjusted appropriately.
