Potted flowers not blooming? Soil fertilizer is important!

Potted flowers not blooming? Soil fertilizer is important!

Only watering, no fertilization

Many novice flower lovers do a good job of watering when growing potted flowers, but fertilizing seems to be something that should not be done to the plants. So in the long run, you will know what watering and fertilizing are. This causes the plant to become malnourished and have no extra energy to produce flower buds. Without flower buds, there is no way the plant can bloom.

Excessive fertilization or single fertilizer

Some friends forget to apply fertilizer, while others apply too much fertilizer, especially nitrogen fertilizer. Nitrogen fertilizer can promote the rapid growth of plant branches and leaves, consuming most of the nutrients on the branches and leaves. In addition, the lack of potassium fertilizer and phosphorus fertilizer will make it impossible for plants to grow flower buds. Without flower buds, there is no way to bloom.

Environmental influences: temperature, light, ventilation, humidity, etc.

Before growing plants, you need to know more or less about the habits and characteristics of the plants, and know under what environment the plants will grow better. The environment includes: sunlight, whether sufficient sunlight is needed, whether it can grow in the sun; the requirements for ventilation; and the temperature requirements. If it is a light-loving plant, and you always put it in the shade, it will affect its health and it will not be easy for it to bloom.

Soil Impact

Most flower plants are suitable for living in neutral soil or acidic soil. They hate living in saline-alkali soil, which will directly affect the growth of the plants, so flowering will also be restricted.
