Pothos

When you go to the flower market, you can often see a lot of green ivy columns, but the ones sold in the flower market are basically large-leaf green ivy, but many of the ones in flower lovers' homes are small-leaf green ivy. So today Huahua wants to introduce to you how to grow the small-leafed green ivy at home into a green ivy column!

How to do it:

1. First, prepare a pot of green radish seedlings, a mineral water bottle and a flower pot.

2. Take a plastic bottle, cut off its bottom, and then punch holes evenly on the bottle wall. If some flower lovers think drilling holes is too troublesome, they can just go to the hardware store to buy PVC pipes and poke holes in them.

3. Place some loose and breathable pine needles at the bottom of the flower pot, and then add nutrient soil. The nutrient soil can be mixed in a ratio of 1:1:1 of peat soil, perlite and coconut bran, and finally the plastic bottle is fixed in the middle of the flower.

4. Transplant the green radish seedlings prepared in advance into the flowerpot.

5. Then cut off the bottom of the second plastic bottle, poke a small hole in it like the first plastic bottle, and then put it upside down on the first plastic bottle.

6. Fill a plastic bottle with pine bark and organic fertilizer so that the green radish can absorb enough nutrients when it grows upward.

7. Wrap the entire plastic bottle with palm peel. Because there are many mesh-like gaps on the palm bark, the aerial roots of the green ivy will climb up along the palm bark. If flower lovers find that palm bark is hard to buy, you can also go to the market and buy a palm bark mop, which can be used after being disassembled.

8. Place the green radish in a place with sufficient diffuse light and take good care of it. Water it about once every 2-3 days in summer, and spray water on the leaves more often. During the peak growing season in summer, the green radish will quickly climb up the plastic bottle and become a green radish column.

Green radish curtains

If you want to grow green ivy into curtains, the method is actually very simple!

How to do it:

1. Plant a small green radish seedling in the flower trough at an interval of about 15 cm, and then hang it in a higher place such as a balcony. When the green radish grows, the stems and leaves will hang down, like a green waterfall hanging down.

2. You can also plant green ivy in a wall-mounted flowerpot, and then hang it at the door or above the windowsill. When the green ivy grows wildly, the stems and leaves will hang down and become a natural green ivy curtain.

Green radish wall

Huahua recently discovered that many flower lovers’ homes have green ivy climbing all over the walls. As soon as you enter the door, you feel like you have entered a forest, which makes Huahua so envious!

How to do it:

1. If you want to make a green radish wall, you first need a pot of green radish, a thin rope, tape or wire (for concave shape)

2. After caring for it for a period of time, when you find that the stems of the green radish in your home begin to grow longer, insert a tube into the green radish pot, or use a wire to pull it to let the green radish climb upwards. Be sure to place the pot next to the wall so that the operation can be carried out.

3. When the green ivy grows taller, you can use wire or fishing line to make it into the shape you want, and the green ivy will slowly grow along the shape.
