The flower language of HeronMystery, persistence, longing, and faith. Legend of HeronAccording to legend, during the war-torn period in Japanese history, each region was ruled by its own regime. Kira Yoshiyasu was the lord of Setagaya Castle at the time, and naturally ruled the Tokyo area. As a ruler, Kira Yoriyasu naturally had many wives and concubines, but his favorite was undoubtedly Tokiwahime. Tokiwa-hime was an unrivaled beauty, with a beauty so stunning that she could outshine all the flowers, and therefore she often monopolized the favor of Kira Yoshiyasu. However, women's jealousy is a terrible thing, and the ignored wives and concubines naturally hated Tokiwa-hime. Later, Princess Tokiwa became pregnant, and the concubines who had fallen out of favor spread rumors that Princess Tokiwa was having an affair with a man. At first, Kirara Yoriyasu didn't take it seriously, but as time went on, the rumor gradually grew bigger and bigger in Kirara Yoriyasu's heart. This eventually led Kira to begin to neglect Tokiwa-hime and even banish her to the cold palace. From being doted on by everyone to being bullied by a dog when she was in dire straits, Tokiwa-hime's experiences from heaven to hell gradually made her depressed, and she finally chose to die to prove her innocence. Before committing suicide, she wrote a suicide note stating her innocence and tied the letter to the feet of an egret, hoping that the egret could take the letter to her father and inform him of her innocence. As a result, the egret met Kira Yoshiyasu who was hunting, and he shot the egret down with one arrow. When he saw the letter at Bai Lu's feet, he opened it and found that it was a suicide note written by Princess Tokiwa who was banished to the cold palace by him. Kirara rushed back to rescue her, but he only saw Tokiwa-hime who had long died and a baby. Kirara then realized that he had lost his most beloved concubine and his own son, and he was extremely sad... The next year, small white flowers that people had never seen before bloomed at the place where the egret died. Because their blooming appearance was very similar to a flying egret, people named it "egret grass" to commemorate the egret who died to prove Princess Tokiwa's innocence. Later, this flower was introduced to our country, and some people also called it egret flower. |
