The flower language and cultural background of Chrysanthemi orchid

The golden orchid has an elegant posture and tender branches and leaves, making it very suitable for garden cultivation. Placing it in front of a window or on a balcony can always add a touch of poetry and peace to the interior.

It is now known that the earliest history of growing golden orchid in my country can be traced back to more than 7,000 years ago, when the Hemudu people had already cultivated golden orchid for ornamental purposes. The flower language of the Chrysanthemum orchid is similar to its image, implying "hidden beauty". The flower of the Chrysanthemum orchid is very small, the size of a grain of rice. However, this inconspicuous little flower can emit the fragrance of orchid. So, can we say that the flower language of the Chrysanthemum orchid is related to its fragrance?

The golden orchid is evergreen all year round and has a charming fragrance. It was deeply loved by the ancient Chinese people. If you pick one and put it before the bed in the room, the whole room will be filled with intoxicating fragrance. Golden orchid, also known as pearl orchid, was produced in abundance in Suzhou in ancient times. Flower farmers would pick the flowers and sell them in the streets every day, and many people wrote this scene into poems. Wang Fu, a poet in the Qing Dynasty, once wrote a poem "Twelve Rhymes of Pearl Orchid" to praise the rich fragrance, beauty and elegance of the golden orchid. The poem goes like this: "Bind a frame to support the soft stem, move the pot to the painting grid. Used to nourishing the ears, not avoiding the summer heat. The name is Xiangtan, and the way to the sea is drowned. The skin is close to the level of the millet, and the forehead is lightly yellow. When it blooms, it is hesitant to tease the stamens, and when it blooms, it wants to tease the curtains. The thoughts are rustling, and the jade is slender. The small fan is low to support the silk, and the storage warehouse is full of clear porcelain. After the bath, the cicada wings are fluttering. After the makeup is finished, the wind is picked. The powder helps the lotus to be gorgeous. The ball is made of jasmine. The pillow is quiet and the night-blooming jasmine, and the tea bowl competes with the spring tip. The soft words blow the lips tightly, and the rich fragrance makes people dream sweetly. After a long time, I miss you, don't hate me if you are heartbroken."
