Cultivation method of mountain bitter

Cultivation method of mountain bitter

1. Soil:

The mountain schisandra has strong adaptability and can grow in most soils. However, it is better to plant it in fertile and well-drained soil.

2. Fertilization:

Sophora flavescens has strong fertilizer tolerance. When cultivating, apply sufficient well-rotted manure. After each harvest, apply quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer to increase yield. If the land is relatively poor, increase the amount of fertilizer.

3. Watering:

During the growth period of the mountain schisandra, it needs to maintain sufficient moisture and water it on time, but at the same time, water accumulation must not occur, which will affect the root system.

4. Temperature:

The mountain smilax likes warmth and is cold-resistant. The seedlings can withstand low temperatures of 2 to 3°C, and the mature plants can withstand frost of -5 to -4°C. It is also heat-resistant and can tolerate high temperatures of 36°C. The most suitable planting temperature is around 20°C.

5. Notes:

1. Diseases:

The main disease of sweet aronia is downy mildew, which can cause the leaves of sweet aronia to turn yellow and even cause leaf death in severe cases. The soil must be disinfected before cultivation. If diseases occur, chemical agents such as carbendazim and chlorpyrifos can be sprayed for prevention and control.

2. Pests:

The main insect pest is aphid, which sucks leaves and sap and affects the normal growth of mountain sedge. If insect pests are found, they can be controlled by spraying with chemical agents such as dichlorvos solution and imidacloprid.
