Cycas forkyleaf

It can also be called Longkou Cycas. Mostly distributed in Vietnam and its vicinity. The stem is relatively short, only about 20-60 cm in height, about 10-12 cm thick at the base and about 4-6 cm thick at the tip. The epidermis is relatively flat and dark red in color. The large pinnae are 2-3 meters long, and the spacing between the small leaflets is large, up to about 4 centimeters. The length of the small leaflets is 20-30 centimeters, and the width is between 2-2.5 centimeters. The extension direction is irregular and grows in a forked shape. The special thing is that the leaflets have wavy edges, blunt tips, and the surface of young leaves is covered with white powder.

Brazilian cycad

Its scientific name is Dracaena fragrans, and it also has other names such as Brazilian Millennium Tree and Golden Edge Dracaena fragrans. It is tall, reaching a height of more than 6 meters. The height of the potted plant is generally 50-150 cm, with branches. Its leaves are clustered at the top of the stem, curved and arched, bright green and shiny, and its flowers are small and fragrant.

South American Cycad

The South American cycad is mainly single-trunk, with a trunk height generally between 15-30 cm, fewer branches, sometimes in a clumped appearance, cylindrical in shape, and with dark brown leaf scars densely covered on its surface. Its leaves are mainly large even-pinnate compound leaves, with a leaf length of about 60-120 cm and a petiole length of about 15-20 cm; there are about 7-12 pairs of pinnate leaflets, which are oval in shape and unequal on both sides. It is dioecious, with male inflorescences pine cone-shaped and female inflorescences palm-shaped.

Cycas rubra

The origin is in southwest Yunnan. In addition, it is distributed in India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and other places.
Its stem is about 3 meters high and is cylindrical. The large pinnae are about 1.2-1.5 meters long, with small lobes, about 80-120 pairs, about 15-20 cm long, about 0.6-0.8 cm wide, with slightly downward-turned edges, thick leathery in shape, very hard, and arranged asymmetrically. There are sparse thorns on both sides of the petiole, about 2 mm long, with the tip slightly bent downward.
