Flowering and maintenance of spring grass

Spring grass has its peak growth period from October to April every year. At this time, you can apply thin liquid fertilizer once a month to provide sufficient nutrients. When the flower stems grow in spring, you can spray potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution to promote flowering.

The flowering period of spring grass is from February to April. The flowers will open when there is sufficient light and close in the evening. A single flower of spring grass can usually bloom for about 5 days. It is difficult for it to bloom in rainy weather or when there is insufficient light.

Characteristics of spring grass

The entire plant of spring grass is actually quite distinctive. In fact, we can tell from its name alone that its leaves are very similar to springs or kelp. This feature adds some mystery and beauty to it, and people use it to decorate potted plants, which is very interesting. The flowering of spring grass is also very distinctive.

First of all, when the spring grass blooms, it needs to be pollinated. When pollinating, different plants need to be selected for artificial pollination so that the plants can bear fruit. After the seeds of spring grass mature, they should be harvested in time. If you don't need to keep seeds, you can cut the flower stems after the flowers fade to avoid excessive consumption of nutrients.

Secondly, after the spring grass blooms, the part above the ground will gradually wither. After entering summer, the bulbs will begin to dormant and the withered parts can be cut off. Place the spring grass bulbs and flower pots together in a cool place and keep the soil moist so that the bulbs can continue to expand and sprout again in autumn, at which time they can be maintained normally.
