How can I raise a mage to be more vigorous?

The Echeveria is a very special succulent plant . It is very different from other succulents in many ways. For example, its leaves are colorful and brighter, and their leaves are thinner than those of other succulents. Many people like to grow this kind of plant, so how can you grow the Echeveria more vigorously? Let’s take a look below.

1. Flowerpot selection

When choosing a flowerpot for the Echeveria, it is recommended to choose a tall and thin pot with a height of 18-20 cm and a diameter of 13-14 cm. You can also choose a short and fat pot with a diameter of 14-16. The choice of the pot depends on the size of the plant. However, the growth rate of the Echeveria is quite fast, so the pot should not be too small, otherwise you will need to change the pot frequently.

2. Planting material selection

The flowerpot for growing the Faecalibacterium is deep, and it is maintained on the balcony, so the ventilation effect is average. The proportion of particles in the soil must be large, and expanded clay should be placed at the bottom of the flowerpot. As long as the height of the flower pot exceeds 10 cm, it is necessary to use particles as the bottom. When planting the particles of the Master, it is recommended to add 60% of different types of particles, so that it is breathable and water-permeable, and there will be no water accumulation and root rot. The planting material can be a mixture of medical stone , chlorite, volcanic rock, and sand, or it can be made of particles and peat soil, with a ratio of 7:3. Although the growth of the Master will be slower in the soil with large particles, it is very helpful for the plant shape and condition.

3. Adequate lighting

The Master is a plant that loves sunlight very much. The stronger the light, the more beneficial it is to its growth. It needs to be exposed to the sun every day. It is usually placed on a south balcony or terrace for cultivation. If there is insufficient light, it is not recommended to cultivate it, otherwise the leaves may become water or eventually fall off.

4. Adjust watering frequency

It is no problem to water the plant once every two or three days in spring and summer. Although it is a drought-resistant plant, it also needs to be watered thoroughly in seasons with strong evaporation. However, the temperature is lower in autumn and winter and the evaporation is limited, so the watering frequency is generally once every half a month to a month. Because it is very drought-resistant, if you water it too much and it cannot be effectively evaporated, it will cause water accumulation and root rot.

5. Appropriate fertilization

The plant called Master needs to be kept old. Unlike other ordinary succulents, its stem is relatively thick. Only when the old stem is kept thick can it produce more side branches and more leaves. Therefore, this type of succulent needs certain nutrients. You can directly put a layer of sheep manure at the bottom of the potting soil, because sheep manure is an organic fertilizer , which has certain nutrients and is not too fertile. If the fertility is too strong, it will burn the roots.

6. Cutting propagation

The succulent plant is a plant with particularly vigorous growth ability, and its cutting survival rate is also very high. So if you want to create a small succulent garden, you can just break it off and insert it into the soil when it is growing vigorously. It will generally take root quickly, which is why it is most suitable for creating a balcony succulent garden.

The Master is a plant with very strong vitality. It will enter a dormant period in summer. When the temperature is higher than 30℃, you need to observe the growth of its leaves. Generally, the leaves are very crisp and tender and grow upward, but if you find that the leaves are wilting or even drooping, it means that it has entered a dormant period. At this time, you must reduce or stop watering, otherwise the roots will easily rot.
