Goldfish flower

The small-leaved goldfish flower, also known as the button goldfish flower, is native to Costa Rica. Its morphological characteristics are that the stem is very slender and branched. The leaves are very small and arranged in pairs, and the flowers are solitary in the leaf axils. The whole plant is orange-red and looks like a goldfish.

The flowering period is in spring and summer, and generally lasts about 20 days; it prefers a warm and humid environment, so be sure to pay attention to sufficient light when cultivating it.

The small-leaf goldfish flower is a new type of flower and leaf ornamental plant introduced from abroad in recent years. It is very ornamental and is usually grown in potted plants indoors for viewing purposes only.

The fine-leaved goldfish flower, also known as the Star goldfish flower, is a hybrid variety native to Norway. Its habit is to grow in a creeping, hanging manner.

The flowers of the fine-leaved goldfish are large and numerous, crimson in color, and bloom in spring.

Its external characteristics are: compared with the small-leaved goldfish flower, the leaves of the fine-leaved goldfish flower are as its name suggests, very small, leathery, dark green, and have a smooth and shiny surface.

It likes sunshine and a humid growing environment and is not cold-resistant.

Big Goldfish Flower

The big goldfish flower is also known as the whale flower. Its appearance characteristics are: the stems grow upright, each branch is covered with hair; the old stems are reddish brown

Its leaves are opposite, broadly ovate, nearly as long as wide, dark green on the surface, pale on the back, and not covered with hairs.

The corolla of the large-leaf goldfish is scarlet, the flowers are large and numerous, and the style is silky; it is fresh and pleasant.
