How to grow forget-me-not flowersMore

1. Environmental requirements

This kind of flower is relatively easy to grow. When growing them, you should keep the environment as cool as possible. The place where it is grown should not be too stuffy, too hot or too humid. Generally, keeping the temperature at about 20 degrees will help it grow better. Therefore, the maintenance environment is very important and must be chosen carefully.

2. Suitable soil

Forget-me-nots generally do not have particularly high requirements for soil, but it is best to choose some fertile and loose sandy soil. The soil in the pot should also have better drainage. Do not use soil that has poor drainage and is particularly sticky. When caring for potted plants, we can put some rotten organic fertilizer at the bottom of the pot, which can be conducive to better growth in the future.

3. Appropriate fertilizer and water

During the growth process of forget-me-not, we can give it some dilute and thin organic fertilizer and water. Remember not to apply too much fertilizer. If it is too concentrated, it will easily cause too much nutrition, which will easily burn the roots of the forget-me-not and cause death. Therefore, you must choose appropriate fertilizer and water to ensure that the forget-me-not grows better and blooms more beautiful flowers.

4. Proper lighting

Forget-me-nots prefer plenty of space, but they need to be properly shielded from the sun in the summer and should not be exposed to direct sunlight at noon or in the afternoon. In spring and autumn, you can let it get sun exposure all day long, because the sun is not particularly strong at this time, so you can fully enjoy the sun's rays.

5. Pruning promotes flowering

Proper pruning of forget-me-nots can allow it to retain some nutrients, so that it can grow more branches and bloom better. While waiting for the buds, if the plant is not in particularly good condition, you can leave about 4 flower branches on each plant, which will also allow it to bloom more small flowers.
