The growth habits of Jianlan are similar to those of Molan, but Jianlan mainly grows on the walls of deep mountain valleys. Jianlan is also common on sloping slopes and rock crevices with good water permeability and moisture retention. Differences in morphological characteristicsThe biggest difference in morphological characteristics between Mo Lan and Jian Lan lies in the leaves. The two plants can be easily distinguished by the characteristics of the leaves. The leaves of Mo Lan appear to be wider, while the leaves of Jian Lan are narrower. If you observe from the leaf bone against the light, you will find that the secondary veins of Jianlan are relatively transparent, while the secondary veins of Molan are dark green and not very transparent. The difference in flowering periodThe flowering period of Mo Lan is from October to March of the following year, and the flowering period of Jian Lan is usually from June to October. |
