Hairy-leaved spathiphyllum

Hairy-leaved strawflower is a relatively common cultivated variety of strawflower.

The origin of hairy-leaved strawflower is New Zealand, and it is now quite common in garden cultivation. The main feature of hairy-leaved strawflower is that it has creeping stems and obovate leaves. When flowering, the inflorescence opens individually and the flowers are silvery white.

Corymbose Strawflower

Umbrella strawflower is another common cultivated variety of strawflower. It is not native to the Australian continent, but is native to South Africa. The biggest feature of the umbel strawflower is that its head inflorescence is umbrella-shaped.

The base of the umbel strawflower is somewhat shrub-like, its leaves are oval, the head inflorescence is chamber-shaped, and the bracts of the involucre are oblong, blunt at the tip, and milky white.

Tianshania tianshanica

Tianshan straw daisy is also one of the commonly cultivated varieties of straw daisy. This straw daisy is native to China's Xinjiang region. It has a history of cultivation in China and is widely distributed. Tianshan straw daisy is commonly planted in flower beds in the Lingnan region.

Tianshan strawflower is a perennial herb. The whole plant of Tianshan strawflower has dense and fine hairs, narrow and long leaves, which are lanceolate, and the head inflorescence is also umbel. When blooming, the flowers of the Tianshan straw daisy are yellow or orange-red. The flowers of this straw daisy look like the golden sun, dazzling and very moving.
