Feng Shui taboos for raising lotus at home

Feng Shui taboos for raising lotus at home

1. Don’t put it on the wealth position

There is a saying about lotus in Feng Shui that although its leaves can gather dew, the water easily dissipates due to evaporation, and water is associated with making money, so placing lotus in the wealth position is not conducive to gathering wealth. This statement actually means that water evaporation is a natural phenomenon, but people who believe in Feng Shui are usually reluctant to place lotus flowers in the wealth position of their home.

2. Families who believe in Buddhism cannot place

The lotus and Buddhism have a long history, so some Buddhists believe that the lotus has too much spiritual energy and are afraid that the lotus will suppress the feng shui of their homes. Therefore, they are unwilling to keep lotus at home, fearing that the lotus will bring bad luck to their homes.

3. Families with elderly people cannot release

Some elderly people regard the white water-stained lotus as a plant with very strong yin energy, especially the bowl lotus, which has a similar pronunciation to “funeral couplet”, which makes elderly people feel uncomfortable. In fact, there is no basis for this. However, the evaporation of water in the lotus pond will cause the air humidity to increase. For some elderly people with rheumatic diseases, this humid environment will make them feel uncomfortable, so it is best not to keep them at home.
