How to dry hawthorn and how to eat it after drying

1. How to dry

1. Select hawthorn: When the hawthorn is ripe, you can pick it yourself, or you can choose and buy good hawthorn. The hawthorn should be undamaged, plump, and free from diseases and pests.

2. Clean: Pick out fresh hawthorns and wash them in clean water. Wash them at least 2-3 times until they are clean. After washing, take it out and place it in a well-ventilated place to drain the moisture.

3. Slice and remove seeds: Cut the hawthorn into 3-4 slices. Larger hawthorns can be cut into 4 slices, and small ones can be cut into three slices. Be careful when cutting so as not to hurt your hands. The middle slice will contain hawthorn seeds, which can be kept or removed by hand or with chopsticks.

4. Drying: If you have bamboo sticks at home, you can thread the silk thread onto the bamboo sticks, tie them up and place them in a cool place to dry. You can also prepare a large container, place the hawthorns one by one on it, and turn them over from time to time. Turn them over once every half a day at the beginning, and then once a day. After drying, you can collect them and eat them slowly.

2. How to eat after drying

After hawthorn is dried, it can be soaked in water and drunk. It is quite convenient and good for the body. First, soak it in a small amount of water to remove dust, then add water and soak it before drinking.
