Can lucky bamboo be placed in the bedroom?

Can lucky bamboo be placed in the bedroom?

1. Is it toxic?

Lucky bamboo is a perennial green plant of the Liliaceae family. There is absolutely no problem in keeping it indoors. Because lucky bamboo is not toxic when used normally for viewing, as long as it is not eaten, it will not affect the indoor air when placed in the bedroom. On the contrary, it will purify the air during the day and is beneficial for purification without causing any harm to the human body.

2. Is the bedroom suitable for maintenance?

1. Placement

Lucky bamboo likes bright diffuse light and is shade-tolerant, so when we take care of it in the bedroom, we cannot place it in direct sunlight, otherwise the leaves will be burned. At the same time, it is not good to place lucky bamboo in an environment that is too dark and completely without light, as lucky bamboo cannot tolerate it. Furthermore, areas such as doorways, windows, and air-conditioning vents where wind flows too frequently and are too large are not suitable for placing lucky bamboo.

2. Temperature conditions

Lucky bamboo is a warm-loving plant, so if the indoor temperature cannot meet the needs of lucky bamboo, there is no way to maintain it. Lucky bamboo needs an indoor environment above 15 degrees to grow normally. Many people like to grow lucky bamboo in water indoors. When maintaining it, in addition to paying attention to the issues mentioned above, we must also note that it is not recommended to change a large amount of water at one time for hydroponic lucky bamboo. The best thing is to only update one-third of the water volume, and no more than one-half at most.

3. Notes

Green plants release carbon dioxide during their respiration at night. It is best not to keep too many plants in the bedroom, otherwise it will be detrimental to people's breathing at night and will have the opposite effect.
