Prevention and control of diseases and pests of potted green radish

anthrax

symptom

When anthracnose occurs, it mainly affects the middle part of the leaves and even the flowers, but the green radish does not bloom! Reddish-brown or dark-brown spots will appear on the leaves. As the disease worsens, the spots will gradually expand and form ring-shaped markings. The same plant may be infected repeatedly.

Prevention and treatment methods

Clean the leaves, spray them with clean water, and expose them to the sun more often.

Spraying pesticides. Anthracnose infection can only be controlled by pesticides. You can choose carbendazim, thiophanate-methyl or carbendazim. Dilute the solution and spray it once 1 to 2 days. Improvement will be seen after 3 to 4 times.

Root rot

symptom

As the name suggests, root rot mainly harms the roots and causes rot. In severe cases, it will cause the leaves to turn yellow and wither, and the entire plant to die.

Prevention and treatment methods

Spray 50% carbendazim during the disease period, or directly irrigate the roots with the solution.

In serious cases, change the soil directly, pull out the green radish, remove the rotten parts of the roots, and replant it.

Leaf spot

disease

Leaf spot disease mainly harms the leaves. Many small brown spots will appear on the leaves. The symptoms are similar to those of anthracnose, but the spots will spread all over the leaves.

Prevention and treatment methods

Remove diseased leaves promptly, pay attention to ventilation, and provide sufficient sunlight.

Spray the pesticide with 500 times diluted mancozeb for prevention and control.
