When does the jade tree bloom?

When does the jade tree bloom?

1. Difficulty

In fact, it is really difficult for this kind of plant to bloom. Some people even regard it as the same kind as the iron tree. You can imagine how difficult it is for this plant to bloom. A survey showed that some people's jade plants only bloomed after six years, while some had them for eighteen years and the flowers only bloomed twice. Because its flowering period is relatively long, it is better for everyone to wait patiently.

2. Time

Its flowering period is actually quite long, blooming in both summer and autumn, for about a hundred days, so some people may find it blooms in winter.

3. Maintenance

Because this plant is difficult to bloom, many people think it is a foliage plant, so they do not follow the correct methods when caring for it, which makes it fail to bloom.

We need to change its pot every spring, add some fertile soil into it, and then place it in a sunny place. A thin layer of fertilizer should be applied every ten days or so. As for watering, it should be done every two or three days. It is best to maintain good dryness and humidity. If the temperature is relatively high, provide shade.

In addition, in the summer we'd better pay attention to ventilation. If it rains heavily, we should move it indoors, otherwise it will easily die from water accumulation. Of course, it grows faster between August and October. At this time, we need to increase the light and no longer need to provide shade.

If it is frost, you still need to place it in a sunny place and stop fertilizing. Generally speaking, watering and fertilizing are the same in spring and autumn. Normally, watering is half of that in summer. In short, if we grow it according to the requirements, although we may not be able to make it bloom every year, we can still increase the chances of it blooming.
