Is Tiger Piranha poisonous?

Is Tiger Piranha poisonous?

1. Is it toxic?

Sansevieria is non-toxic and will not cause poisoning if it is kept or touched at home, so you can grow it with confidence. Some people experience itching after touching it. This is because they are allergic to it, not because the plant is poisonous. If you are allergic to it, it is best not to touch it and try to put it in a well-ventilated place.

Not only is it non-toxic, it can also absorb toxic gases in the air and purify the air. If it is a newly renovated house, placing a pot of Sansevieria can absorb formaldehyde, which is very beneficial to people's health.

2. Daily maintenance

1. Appropriate light: It should receive sufficient light in spring and autumn. The light will gradually increase in summer, so it is necessary to take shade measures or place it in a cool place for maintenance. Do not let the plant be exposed to direct sunlight.

2. Reasonable watering: In dry weather, the soil should be kept moist at all times, but no water should accumulate in the potting soil. The temperature will drop in winter and the plants will need less water, so the amount of watering should be controlled.

3. Change the pot in time: Tiger Piranha grows very fast, so it is necessary to change it to a larger pot in time after it has grown for a period of time, otherwise it will affect the growth of the plant. It is best to repot in spring. If the plant is larger, it can be divided and planted.
