The difference between pineapple flower and water tower flower

1. Difference of blades

Bromeliad flowers are hard leathery, basal in a rosette, and slightly curved outward in a ribbon-like shape. The leaves vary in color, some have dark green horizontal stripes, some are brown with green splash patterns, and some are green leaves with dark green spots. Especially when approaching the flowering period, the leaves in the center will turn dark red, pink, or the entire leaf will turn dark red or only the front part will turn red.

The water tower flower has 6-15 leaves, which are broadly lanceolate, upright at first and slightly bent outward in the later stage. The edges have small brown thorns at least in the upper half, and are green on the top and pink-green on the back.

2. Difference in color

The color of bromeliad flowers is mostly sky blue or light purple.

The bracts of the water tower flower are pink, the sepals are dark red, and the petals are red.
