Can yew be placed in the bedroom?

1. Can it be put

It can be kept in the bedroom.

Usually yew trees continuously absorb CO2 throughout the day and then release a beneficial gas. This gas can not only purify the air in our room and kill some bacteria, but also is extremely beneficial to the human body. When the human body inhales this gas, it can enhance its physical fitness and prevent the occurrence of diseases, which is greatly beneficial to people's health. At the same time, placing it in the room can also repel some mosquitoes, and the higher the indoor temperature, the better the insect repellent effect.

2. How to keep it in the bedroom

1. Appropriate fertilizer

Yew is most afraid of chemical fertilizers, so be sure not to use this kind of fertilizer when fertilizing. Generally, some organic fertilizers such as cake fertilizer can be applied appropriately, and when applying it, care should be taken not to allow it to get close to its roots, but to apply it along the edge of the pot as much as possible.

2. Proper lighting

Yew trees usually prefer cool places, so if you keep them in the bedroom, do not place them near the air outlet of the air conditioner or under the heater. In addition, in the hot summer, in order to avoid it being exposed to strong light, you should try to place it in the backlight of the bedroom, so as to effectively prevent the plant from being sunburned.

3. Water appropriately

Be moderate when watering it, usually once every 20 to 25 days. If you water it too frequently, its roots will gradually rot and eventually die. The reason why many yew trees kept in the bedroom die easily is mostly because of too much water, so we must be cautious when adding water to them.
