Hydroponic method of leek lotus

Hydroponic method of leek lotus

The leek lotus itself has small pink or pure white flowers interspersed among the emerald green leaves, giving the overall look a fresh and elegant feel. If it is grown hydroponically, the spherical roots of the leek lotus can be seen from the transparent container, and the leaves will be clearer.

One of the hydroponic methods of leek lotus

Prepare a relatively long transparent container, preferably one with a beautiful appearance. You can put a layer of colored stones or pebbles at the bottom of the container to increase the beauty.

In spring, first plant the prepared leek lotus bulbs in pots. Ensure that the roots of the chive lotus can fully expand. Then compact the roots with soil to ensure a smooth surface.

Then, sink the basin into the pool, shake it gently, rinse off the dirt on the surface, and place it in the selected container.

Don't put too much water in the container, three quarters is enough.

The second method of hydroponic cultivation of leek lotus

In order to achieve better viewing effects, it is best to choose appropriate tools according to the variety, shape, etc. of the plants. For leek lotus, a transparent glass container is a good choice.

First, remove the soil from the leek lotus and wash its roots. Gently shake the dug plant with your hands to shake off the soil at the roots to expose the entire root system. Then rinse with clean water. It must be ensured that not a speck of dirt is left.

After pruning the roots, stems and leaves, you can soak them in 0.1% potassium permanganate solution for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with clean water, and then you can plant them in the bottle.

This hydroponic method requires the use of a special culture solution.
