How to eat sapodilla

How to eat sapodilla

1. Fresh food

The sapodilla can be eaten directly as a fruit. If it is just picked from the tree, it must be eaten after about 7 days to prevent the sapodilla from being unripe.

2. Eat it cold

Select ripe sapodilla fruit, cut into slices, sprinkle with salt, marinate until water comes out, drain, and add different condiments according to personal taste, such as mashed garlic, seasoning, sesame oil, etc. Stir well and it is ready to eat.

3. Steam and cut food

For this, you need to choose a slightly larger sapodilla fruit. After rinsing it, scoop out the pulp inside with a small spoon, and then put in the pre-marinated meat filling. Now you can put it in the pot and steam it. After steaming, cut it into several petals with a knife. This makes it more convenient to eat and more delicious.

4. Make jam

Select ripe sapodilla fruit and prepare lemon juice, water, sugar and maltose. First peel the sapodilla, cut it into small even pieces, soak it in lemon water for a while, then take it out and drain the lemon water. Put the white sugar and the drained sapodilla into a pot of water and cook until the sapodilla is softened and then turn off the heat. After it has cooled completely, add maltose and lemon juice and stir together. Cook over low heat for a while until it is completely crushed.

5. Make preserved fruits

Select ripe sapodilla fruits, rinse them, boil the flesh until softened, remove and drain, and marinate them with sugar according to personal taste. After marinating for a day, bake them dry in a machine.
