The sowing time and method of Erigeron chinensis

Chrysanthemum vulgare is also known as wild chrysanthemum and lampstand flower. Its medicinal name is Chrysanthemum vulgare . It is a very demanded Chinese medicinal material and is artificially cultivated in many areas. Here is an introduction to the sowing time and method of Eupatorium.

Sowing time of hibiscus

The hibiscus can be sown in spring, summer and autumn. Spring sowing is done from late February to early March, and the seeds germinate 10 to 20 days after sowing. Summer sowing is done in the rainy season from May to June, and autumn sowing is done in August to September.

How to sow the seeds of Echeveria

1. Seed treatment

Soak the seeds in warm water at about 30℃ for 4 to 5 hours, then take out the seeds and leave them for about 3 hours until the surface moisture is slightly dry. Then spread the seeds evenly into the ditch, cover with soil about 1 cm, cover the surface with grass, and water thoroughly.

2. Cover with sunshade net

To prevent the seeds from being blown away by the wind, the shade net should be covered in time after sowing, and one bed of soil should be covered after sowing. Be careful not to drag the shade net on the surface of the soil when covering, to prevent the seeds from sticking to the net, affecting germination or causing uneven distribution.

3. Seedling management

Water is one of the key factors to ensure the emergence of Coptis chinensis. Sufficient water must be ensured to ensure uniform seedling growth. The principle of watering is to water in small amounts multiple times, repeatedly, but no water accumulation should occur. When the seedlings grow to 2 leaves and 1 heart, start hardening the seedlings. Remove the film for ventilation and gradually exercise from small to large. Remove the film at the 4-leaf stage or when the frost stops.

4. Weed control management

We must remove weeds frequently to prevent weed damage. Start weeding about 25 days after sowing. Weeds should be pulled out when they grow to about 2 cm. The smaller the better. Large weeds can easily damage the roots of the Eupatorium and even take away the Eupatorium seedlings. All weeds must be pulled out before they are 4 cm long and must not exceed 5 cm. Large weeds are labor-intensive and time-consuming, and will affect the growth of the Eupatorium.

5. Water and fertilizer management

Combined with the first weeding and soil loosening, apply 5-10 kg of nitrogen fertilizer per mu; combined with the second soil loosening, apply 20 kg of compound fertilizer per mu, apply near the roots. The plant requires a large amount of water, so there must be enough moisture on the surface to ensure the survival of the seedlings. After the seedlings survive, the moisture should be controlled appropriately. Water should be irrigated according to the soil moisture conditions. Water should be irrigated and drained quickly to ensure that the plant can grow normally. If there is waterlogging, drainage should be done well.

6. Flower thinning management

The flowering period of Chrysanthemum vulgare is relatively long and it consumes a lot of nutrients, so it is required to prune the flowers as soon as they appear to prevent nutrient consumption, so as to facilitate the good growth of the plant. The cut flowers should be dried in the shade and stored.
