How to make your own Clivia fertilizer

How to make your own Clivia fertilizer

1. Composting

1. Prepare some beans, melon seeds, peanuts, etc. that are worm-eaten or moldy, as well as some leftover vegetable leaves, melon and fruit peels, pigeon droppings, and expired milk powder. Crush them together and put them in a jar.

2. Fill the jar with water and seal it for fermentation. Place it in a sunny spot so that the temperature increases. If all the substances in the jar sink, the water turns black, and there is no overall odor, then fermentation is complete. 3. In summer, you can take out the liquid on the top and use it directly as fertilizer. After it is used up, you can add water to it and ferment it into fertilizer for recycling. Mixing the original material into the flower soil can also be used as base fertilizer.

2. Eggshell

Prepare a few egg shells, rinse out the egg white, dry them in the sun, and then crush them into powder. You can grow Clivia by adding one part egg shell powder to three parts potting soil.

3. Beer

You can use beer directly to grow flowers. There are two specific ways to use it. One is to wipe the leaves with it, and the other is to dilute it before watering.

4. Chinese medicine residue

Place the unused Chinese medicine residue in a large container, add some fresh soil and water, ferment it for a few days, and then you can plant Clivia after it has rotted.

5. Peel and core

Chop up the apple cores, fruit skins and tomato stems and bury them in the pot, and the Clivia will bloom better.
