The language and legend of roses

The Flower Language of Rose

The most common color in the rose family is red. Red roses are gorgeous yet pure. Therefore, the red rose represents pure love, as well as passionate love, female chastity and courage.

The beautiful legends of roses

It is said that in ancient times, there was a beautiful girl named Yulan at the foot of Shennong Mountain. She had many suitors. Of course, she was gentle and steady, and did not easily agree to the marriage proposals of princes and nobles. She lived with her mother, who was ill and had been coughing and vomiting blood for years. No matter how many treatments were used, her mother still couldn't be cured.

Out of filial piety, Yulan sought medical treatment everywhere and was willing to marry anyone who could cure her. Later, a man helped her cure her mother. The man used roses, which have the effect of clearing coughs. Mixing it with rock sugar and stewing it has a good effect in treating coughs and stopping bleeding. In the end, Yulan married the man.

There is also a legend about love. It is said that the Rose Fairy was beautiful and noble. On the day of celebrating the Queen Mother's birthday, the Rose Fairy saw many fairies flattering the Queen Mother, but she couldn't stand it, so she left with the roses and arrived at a beautiful place called Laizhou, where she met a handsome man.

The two of them were in love with each other, but the Rose Fairy was a fairy, so what could they do? They could only ask the Queen Mother for help. The Queen Mother also demoted her to the mortal world because she disappeared on her birthday and did not follow the rules of heaven. She happened to meet a man from Laizhou, and they got married. They made a living by taking care of roses. Beautiful flowers represent beautiful love, may lovers finally get married.
