The ornamental value of Deutzia odorata

The flowers, leaves and branches of Deutzia are all beautiful. The stem pith of Deutzia odorata is used as a substitute for Glechoma longituba and has the effect of promoting lactation and promoting diuresis.

Medicinal uses of Ditang flower

Deutzia odorata is usually taken internally as medicine by decocting it into a water soup and taking 3-5 cents. It can also be used externally by washing with the decocted water.

To treat chronic cough: steam Deutzia flowers and honey.

For treating wind-dampness and heat-toxic sores: decoct the branches and leaves of Deutzia odorata in water and use it for external washing.

For rheumatoid arthritis: decocted 10g of stems and leaves of Deutzia chinensis in water.

For treating edema: 5g of flower, 7.5g of Aucklandia lappa, 5g of Polygonum multiflorum, 5g of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, 15g of mulberry bark, 5g of Equisetum arvense, 5g of Tongcao, 10g of Plantago seed, decocted in water and taken orally.
