Can roses be grown hydroponically?

Roses can be grown in water, but not for a long time. You can try to grow roots in water, and then switch to soil when the roots grow to about 3 cm. Of course, when the rose is not blooming in the early stage, you can grow it in water to see the leaves. The tender green leaves are also quite beautiful. After that, it needs to be transferred to soil culture. The lack of nutrients in the water makes it difficult to support the rose to bloom.

How to hydroponically cultivate roses

Below, the editor will introduce a simple method to you. Tools can simplify everything.

First, cut the rose branches, choose semi-lignified green branches with buds.

Then simply prune the branches, leaving 2 to 3 leaves.

Just stick the branches into the bottle, and the bottle of this tea drink looks pretty good.

Ok, place the branches in the sun and they will take root in about a month and a half.

Precautions for hydroponics of roses

Change the water every 3 to 4 days before rooting, change the water less frequently after rooting, and add water in time after the water evaporates. Don't choose tap water directly from the pipe. You can use overnight water or cooled boiled water.

Check if the water is spoiled. If the water has a foul smell, check if the roots are rotten. If so, clean the rotten parts in time and re-root them.

Do not fertilize too frequently. Too much fertilizer will burn the roots and cause yellow leaves. You can put a rusty screw in the water to supplement iron.
