Hydroponic method of zephyranthes

Can it be hydroponically grown?

Allium can be grown in water, and the leaves will be brighter. Hydroponics is carried out in August. The plant height is about 30 cm, or the flower stalks are ugly, and small white flowers will bloom in mid-September. What’s even more amazing is that some of the flowers are located below the water surface, and the bright water highlights the crystal white, uneven leonflowers.

Hydroponics Method

Prepare a relatively long transparent fish tank and lay a layer of pebbles on the bottom of the fish tank.

Find a small pot in early April and plant the prepared onion orchid bulbs in the pot, placing them at intervals of 2 to 3 cm depending on the size of the pot. After planting, make sure the roots are stretched out, compact the roots with soil, and ensure the surface of the potting soil is flat. Then cover the top with 0.5 cm of coarse sand.

After planting, sink the pot in the sink or pool, gently shake it left and right to rinse off the floating mud on the surface, and then place it in a fish tank filled with water. The water in the fish tank should not be too full, 4/5 of the tank height is appropriate. To add interest, some small tropical fish can be placed in the tank.

Of course, there is another method, which is the ordinary hydroponic method, using a special hydroponic solution, placing the roots in water, and regularly replacing nutrients.
