How to grow soybean sprouts

How to grow soybean sprouts

1. Choose soybean varieties

When selecting seeds, try to use mature soybeans harvested that year. The seeds should be plump and undamaged, and they should be stored in a low temperature and dry environment.

2. Processing seeds

In order to make the seeds germinate as soon as possible, start-up treatment and seed soaking treatment are often used. The method to start the treatment is to soak the beans in 60° hot water for 1 to 2 minutes after selecting them, and then rinse them with cold water. The soaking method is to soak the beans in warm water at 20 to 30 degrees, and the soaking time is generally 8 to 12 hours.

3. Germination temperature

The lowest temperature for its seeds to germinate is around 10 degrees, the optimal temperature is between 21 and 27 degrees, and the highest temperature is between 28 and 30 degrees. It must not exceed 32 degrees. When promoting its germination, watering is used to regulate the temperature. If the temperature is too high in summer, water it with cold water. When the temperature drops in winter, you should water it with warm water.

4. Watering to accelerate germination

When promoting germination, the method of sprinkling water is used. All the seeds in the entire container should be watered to ensure that the temperature of the container and the sprouts is even. In this way, it won’t be long before it sprouts small buds.
