How to grow rapeseed on the balcony

How to grow rapeseed on the balcony

first step

If you want to grow rapeseed on the balcony, the first step is to choose suitable rapeseed seeds, prepare a suitable container and soil, put the soil in, and then draw some grooves on it. Then we put the prepared seeds into the treated soil. Cover the seeds with a little soil, a thin layer of soil will do. It should be noted that we'd better choose a container with a drainage hole at the bottom.

Step 2

After planting, we need to water the plants lightly to keep the soil moist. The seeds will germinate in about four to five days. After about 15 days, you can apply organic fertilizer to the seedlings, or you can also spray body fertilizer. Be careful not to overwater.

Step 3

About a week after we finish planting, we should start thinning out the seedlings. Because if the density of rapeseed is too high, the development of individual rapeseed will be hindered. You need to pull out some of them and plant them in other containers.

Step 4

After about 20 days, we can basically harvest the rapeseed. If it is ripe, we can just pull it out. We should note that regarding watering, about once a day is sufficient. But if the environment is relatively dry, twice a day is also fine. Another thing is that rapeseed is a vegetable with a relatively short planting period and can be harvested and eaten in about a month.
