Durian potted planting method

durian

As we all know, durian is a famous tropical fruit originated in Malaysia and is known as the "King of Fruits". It is widely grown in Southeast Asian countries. Because of its strong flavor and unique taste, many people have a love-hate relationship with this fruit. Since durian fruit only ripens once a year, Zheng He named it "Liulian". Later generations used the homonym and changed it to "Durian". Durian has many benefits. Since it can promote blood circulation and dispel cold, women with dysmenorrhea can eat it frequently. If you have symptoms of cold body, durian is also a very effective tonic.

Planting method

The durian seeds are wrapped in the tender flesh. Just take out the durian seeds and soak them in water.

Under suitable temperature conditions, you will see the skin of the durian seeds crack the next day. When you see the milky white kernel inside starting to come out, you can plant it in the soil.

First place 8 to 10 centimeters of soil in the pot, plant the durian seeds, and then cover the surface with about 1 centimeter of soil. Durian does not have high requirements for soil. After planting the durian seeds, there is no need to water them every day, just keep the soil moisture at around 30%. Durian does not require much light, but be careful not to overexposure to the sun.

It is worth noting that this kind of potted plant is only placed at home for ornamental purposes. If you want to eat sweet durian, you still have to buy it yourself!
