What's wrong with the leaves of Impatiens drying up? What should I do if the leaves wilt?

What's wrong with the leaves of Impatiens drying up? What should I do if the leaves wilt?

1. Lack of water

Reason: Although Impatiens has a certain degree of drought resistance, if it is not watered for a long time during its growth period, the soil will be too dry and the branches and leaves will not be able to absorb water and will slowly wilt and dry up. This is a common phenomenon.

Remedy: If the flower is short of water, rehydrate it immediately. You can water it thoroughly once to allow the plant to recover. Just be sure to water it thoroughly and not allow water to accumulate. In addition, if the soil is found to be dry later, water should be added in time to avoid long-term drought.

2. Too much light

Reason: Impatiens loves the sun very much, but if it is exposed to strong sunlight for a long time, the plant will easily be sunburned, and the leaves will wilt or even dry up.

Treatment: If you are sunburned by strong sunlight, you should move to a slightly cooler place as soon as possible, and spray water appropriately to help cool down, so that you can recover faster. Pay attention to providing shade in summer.

3. Improper fertilization

Reason: Improper fertilization during management will cause the leaves to wilt, burn, and dry out. For example, accidentally applying fertilizer to leaves or stems.

Remedy: If the plant has dried up due to incorrect fertilization, it will be difficult to revive it. It is recommended to re-propagate and plant by cuttings as soon as possible.
