How to grow spider plant seedlings and how to grow them quickly

How to grow spider plant seedlings and how to grow them quickly

1. Suitable temperature

The suitable temperature for the growth of spider plant seedlings is around 20-24℃. It grows fastest within this temperature range and is more conducive to the growth of the plant. Therefore, when caring for it, try to keep the temperature within this range. Do not exceed 30 degrees Celsius in summer and do not fall below 10 degrees Celsius in winter.

2. Avoid exposure to the sun

Newly planted spider plant seedlings are afraid of exposure to the sun, and special attention should be paid to avoiding strong light, but they cannot be deprived of light all the time. Keeping them in a dark environment for a long time will hinder the growth of the plants. It can be kept in a place with scattered light and sufficient sunlight to promote the rapid growth of the spider plant.

3. Watering in moderation

If the soil where the plants are planted is relatively moist, there is no need to water them in a hurry. It needs a humid environment to grow, so observe the condition of the soil and water it appropriately to maintain humidity. In addition to normal watering, you also need to spray water on the leaves when they are dry.

4. Reasonable fertilization

The provision of nutrients can promote the rapid growth of spider plants. Fertilizer can be applied according to the growth needs. Pay attention to the frequent application of thin fertilizers and the reasonable application of dilute liquid fertilizers.

5. Soil foundation

Chlorophytum seedlings are suitable for growing in well-drained and fertile sandy soil, and the pots and soil should be changed after one or two years of cultivation.
