What to do if the lucky tree wilts after repotting

What to do if the lucky tree wilts after repotting

1. Reasons for wilting

The lucky tree will not start growing directly after it is replaced. Instead, it will take some time to adapt to the new soil. During this period, its growth rate will be very slow, and the rate at which it absorbs nutrients and water from the soil will also be reduced. Therefore, it may wilt due to insufficient supply of water and nutrients.

2. Treatment methods

After changing the pot, you need to place it in an environment without strong light and at around 20℃. Stop fertilizing temporarily and don't water too much. Unless the soil is very dry, you don't need to water it, just spray some water around it. This will prevent it from becoming waterlogged due to its inability to absorb water in time. After about 7 days, it will be able to resume growing.

3. Notes

If you place it in a suitable environment and it does not recover within 10-15 days, it may be because its roots were damaged during the repotting process. At this time, you should take it out of the soil, cut off the rotten roots, disinfect it, replant it back into the soil, and slowly maintain it.
