What to do if there are black spots on the leaves of green radish

1. Improve ventilation

Reason: Poor air circulation can easily lead to poor air quality and reduced oxygen content. These are not conducive to the growth of green radish, may cause disease, and cause black spots on the leaves.

Solution: Move the green radish to a well-ventilated area. If you grow them indoors, you need to open windows and ventilate them regularly. It should be noted that the temperature is lower in winter, so you can put it in other rooms first, and then open the windows for ventilation for a while before taking it back.

2. Reduce watering

Reason: Excessive watering can cause poor breathing of the roots and even cause them to rot. When the roots rot, black spots will appear on the leaves.

Solution: Remove the green radish from the pot and check whether the roots are rotten due to waterlogging. If there are rotten roots, cut them off immediately, soak them in carbendazim for disinfection, and replant them with new sterilized soil. When watering daily, control the amount of water and keep the soil in the pot slightly moist.

3. Reduce humidity

Reason: High air humidity is also a major cause of the disease of green radish, especially in an environment with poor ventilation, black spots are more likely to appear.

Solution: If you grow it indoors, just pay attention to ventilation. If it is the rainy season and the climate is humid for a long time, you can put desiccant near the green ivy and reduce watering.

4. Increase Lighting

Reason: Insufficient light can cause poor growth of the green radish, resulting in black spots on the leaves.

Solution: Place it where there is diffuse light. Since the green radish cannot be exposed to strong sunlight, it is generally not placed in a sunny place, especially at noon. If placed in direct sunlight, provide adequate shade.
