How to save a wilted gardenia

How to save a wilted gardenia

1. Adjust water application

Watering is very important for plant maintenance. If too much water is applied, the lack of oxygen in the roots will affect root respiration, and the transport function will be weakened after rot occurs. If the plant lacks water for a long time, there will be no moisture in the soil, and the plant will naturally dry up and wither. In this case, it is necessary to adjust the water content and add or reduce it in time. If there is too much water, the soil needs to be loosened to promote penetration. If there is too little water, it needs to be added in time.

2. Control the temperature

Temperature is also one of the reasons. Low temperature can cause the plants to be frozen and withered. You can cut off the withered leaves and adjust the indoor maintenance temperature to keep it within an appropriate range.

3. Replace the loam

It is difficult for it to adapt to alkaline loam. If the loam is too alkaline, its growth will naturally have problems. You can directly replace it with acidic loam or add vinegar to it to maintain a suitable growth environment.

4. Adjust fertilization

Fertilization is also an important factor. If too much fertilizer is applied, the plant will find it difficult to bear and will burden the roots, causing the roots to rot. You can stop fertilizing or add water to dilute it to allow the remaining fertilizer to flow out. If no fertilizer is applied for a long time, there will be no nutrients supplied in the potting soil and the plant will wither. Nutrients need to be applied according to its growth.
