Why do indoor plants shed leaves after watering?

Why do indoor plants shed leaves after watering?

1. Different types

Although most plants like water, there are also green plants that do not like water. They like to grow in a relatively dry environment. If they are watered frequently, they will find it difficult to adapt and may have problems, causing leaves to fall off. Therefore, when watering, you must consider the specific situation.

2. Watering too frequently

The frequency of watering should be determined according to the growth. If you don't take the situation into consideration and water the soil before it is completely dry, water will accumulate in the pot, making it difficult for the roots to breathe. In severe cases, rot will occur and the water transport function will be weakened. You must pay attention to controlling the application of water, and do not apply excessive amounts each time.

3. The temperature difference is too large

When cared for indoors, the plants have adapted to the indoor temperature. If the water temperature is too cold, the roots of the plants may not be able to bear it if they are poured directly, thus causing frostbite. It is recommended to leave the water indoors for a while, and then pour it into the flowerpot when the temperature difference becomes smaller.

4. Incorrect water quality

Many people use water directly from the pipe to water the plants, which will cause a large amount of chlorine to remain in the water and may cause damage to the plants.
