Bone residue

Rich in nitrogen and phosphorus

How to use?

1. Soak leftover pork bones, beef bones, fish bones, chicken bones, etc. in clean water for 1 to 2 days, rinse them repeatedly to remove the salt they contain.

2. Put the cleaned bones into a pressure cooker and steam them for 20 to 30 minutes to remove the fat.

3. Put the cooked bones in the sun to dry, then smash them with a hammer. Be careful when smashing them. If you still have energy left, you can grind the bone fragments into powder for better results!

4. Function and usage:

Bone residue is a very good slow-release phosphate fertilizer. It can be mixed into the culture soil as a base fertilizer, or it can be sprinkled on the surface of the potting soil as a topdressing fertilizer.

5. Available plants:

It can be used as camellia, azalea, plum, wintersweet, wisteria, white orchid, jasmine, pearl orchid, azalea, Milan, bougainvillea and other species with larger flower volume.

Wood chips

Loose and breathable

How to use

1 Sawdust can be used to grow orchids, but the sawdust used for growing orchids should be freshly sawn, clean and uncontaminated. The soil can be made from local mountain mud, leaf mold, etc. These two kinds of planting materials should be exposed to the sun for 1 to 2 days or sterilized with steam before use. Afterwards, you can mix the two evenly and use them, or you can put them into the flowerpot layer by layer.

2. Sawdust can also be used when repotting flowers and plants. Mix sawdust with 1/3 fine coal slag and some dry manure (flower fertilizer bought from a flower shop is better) and it can be used as nutrient soil for potted flowers. The roots of seedlings that are damaged when repotting can recover quickly, and the root system can easily absorb nutrients in the sawdust, so the flowers and trees can grow rapidly after repotting.

3. Sawdust can be used as fertilizer after fermentation. A faster way is to add urea to sawdust, pour water on it and stir it evenly. Let it ferment into black in two to three days, and then dry it in the sun for a day before use! Of course, this is in the summer. If the temperature is lower in other seasons, the time may be longer!

4. It can be used as a wrapping medium for high-branch layering of flowers and trees such as azalea, kumquat, camellia, and osmanthus: During the rainy season, choose last year's branches with vigorous growth, peel them in a ring shape 10 to 15 cm from the top, then wrap them in plastic bags, fill the bags with wet sawdust and mountain mud (half mixed with half), tie the two ends tightly, and then place the potted flowers in a semi-shaded and semi-sunny place for daily maintenance and management. It will take 2 to 3 months for the seedlings to take root. After taking root, they can be cut off from the mother plant to form a new seedling.

Melon seed shells (peanut shells)

Loose and breathable

How to use?

1. Use a hammer to smash the melon seed shells, peanut shells, or other dried fruit shells and place them at the bottom of the flower pot. They can be used as base fertilizer. (Note: it has to be the original flavor.)

2. You can also crush the dried fruit shells, put them into a container, add water, and expose them to the sun to ferment. The fermentation will be completed in about 3 months, and it will take a little longer in winter.
