How to solve the problem of the leaves of the big-leafed green radish becoming wilt and soft?

How to solve the problem of the leaves of the big-leafed green radish becoming wilt and soft?

1. Improve ventilation

Reason: Large-leafed green radish is usually grown indoors, and the ventilation in the house is generally not very good, especially in rooms with heating in winter. If it is not ventilated, the plant is likely to grow poorly and the leaves will wilt.

Solution: Whether in summer or winter, you should open windows more often to ensure good ventilation. Plants also need to breathe fresh air during their growth process. Long-term stuffiness will cause the leaves to wilt at a mild level, and the plants will stop growing at a severe level.

2. Change the soil

Reason: Many flower lovers do not change the soil after purchasing the green radish. If the soil used before is too non-breathable, it will also affect its growth. Over time, its roots will rot, causing the leaves to wilt and become soft.

Solution: The soil should be changed as soon as possible. It needs to be replaced with soil with strong permeability, and the soil should be loosened more often in normal times to avoid the phenomenon of compaction of the cultivation soil.

3. Increase the room temperature

Reason: The temperature needs to be adjusted when growing in winter. If the maintenance temperature is below 10℃ for a long time, the plant will be frostbitten, which will cause the leaves to wilt and become soft.

Solution: Try to raise the indoor temperature, preferably around 10℃. When the temperature is too low, you must keep warm. You can cover the flower pot with cotton cloth to reduce the chance of roots being frostbite.
