What should I do if the potted chrysanthemum withers? What is the reason?

What should I do if the potted chrysanthemum withers? What is the reason?

1. Control water and loosen soil

Reason: If you water the potted chrysanthemums too much, excess water will accumulate in the pots. The plants cannot absorb the water all at once, and the accumulated water cannot be drained out. Its roots are soaked in water for a long time, unable to breathe normally, and unable to supply water to the leaves and flowers, so they will dry up.

Treatment method: Stop watering temporarily, loosen the soil appropriately and place the potted plants in a ventilated high place such as a balcony to allow the water in the pot to drain out as quickly as possible. Water it later and keep the soil moist.

2. Shading and ventilation

Reason: Small chrysanthemums cannot grow in an environment exposed to strong light. They will grow poorly and wither. Also be careful when growing it indoors. If the environment is not ventilated, the plant will wilt and dry up.

Treatment method: When the sun is strong, shade it or temporarily move it to a cool place, and ensure that the breeding environment is sufficiently ventilated.

3. Keep warm

Reason: The temperature will generally drop in winter. If you don't take timely warming measures, the plant will still be in colder growing conditions and it will be frozen. The most important adverse manifestation is that the potted plants will wither.

Treatment method: If it is kept outdoors, move it indoors immediately. If the indoor temperature is also low, you can cover it with a film and keep it warm. At the same time, control the amount of watering and wait for it to recover for a period of time before maintaining it normally.
