What to do if the branches of the fortune tree are broken

What to do if the branches of the fortune tree are broken

1. Pruning

When you find that its branches are broken, the first thing you should do is to trim them to make the appearance beautiful and improve the ornamental effect. When pruning, cut off all the long branches, and leave 3 to 4 growth points on the good branches, or about 10 cm, and cut off all other branches. When pruning, pay attention to if you find diseased and weak branches, also cut them off from the base, because their germination ability is too weak, and they will compete with other good branches for nutrients, so they must not be left.

2. Maintenance after pruning

1. Lighting

After pruning, don't think that everything is fine. Later maintenance work is also very important. For example, do not expose it to rain or spray it with water to prevent root rot. Then place it in a well-lit place or under the shade of a tree. This way, it can prevent strong light exposure but not lack of light.

2. Watering

At this time, you need to control watering because the leaves have stopped evaporating, so very little water is needed. If you water too much, the roots will rot, thus affecting recovery after pruning.

3. Fertilization

When the pruned branches have not yet sprouted, they need to be given a high nitrogen content compound fertilizer 1 to 2 times. When watering, add a little fungicide to prevent the roots from rotting. The fungicide can be prepared carbendazim powder. After a month, these branches will grow to 5 cm in height, and you can continue to enjoy them after two months.
