What to do if the leaves of baby's breath wilt

What to do if the leaves of baby's breath wilt

1. Lack of water

This plant needs plenty of water during the seedling stage, and watering can only be reduced during the flowering period. Therefore, during daily maintenance, the soil should be kept slightly moist.

2. Too much water will damage the roots

If the air permeability and water permeability of the potting soil are poor, once you water too much, it will easily cause water accumulation or keep the plant in moist soil for a long time. This will damage its roots, causing the roots to be unable to absorb water and nutrients normally, and its leaves will gradually wilt. Therefore, it is recommended to replace the potting soil and pay attention to daily watering.

3. Injury to roots when loosening the soil

If the leaves of the plant wilt a few days after you loosen the soil, it is possible that you damaged its roots while loosening the soil. At this time, move the plant to a semi-shaded place for maintenance until the leaves of the plant gradually return to normal and then place it in the sun.

4. Temperature is too low

If it is winter, the temperature must be maintained above 10 degrees. If it is below 10 degrees, the leaves of the plant will wilt. At this time, you must not transplant the plants directly to a place with too high temperature, but gradually increase the temperature. Otherwise, the plants will not be able to react immediately and other problems may easily arise.

5. Too little light

This plant is a light-loving plant. If there is insufficient light for a long time, its leaves will wilt. At this time, we need to slowly increase the time and intensity of lighting to help it recover.
