1. Before planting the old roots of roses, you need to prepare the potting soil. Buy a flowerpot and put some clean, thick soil in it. Although it is an old root, its growth ability is also very good.

2. Before planting, you need to simply treat its roots and soak them in rooting water to speed up rooting. You can also replace it with carbendazim, which can prevent root rot of the plant.

3. The last step is very simple. Put the disinfected old roots of the rose into the potting soil, and make sure to cover its roots with soil. Do not let its roots be exposed to the air.

2. Planting and maintenance

After planting, the temperature should be adjusted to a suitable level. It is recommended to keep the maintenance temperature at around 15-20℃. The temperature cannot change too much. Too high or too low temperature will have an impact on it. Also, avoid exposure to strong light, as this will not only increase water consumption but also be detrimental to root growth. It is best to place the old rose stump in diffused light and provide plenty of ventilation.
